Cosenza, Calabria, Italy
The Barbieri family 's work began with Italo , the family's founder, continued with Enzo and Patrizia , and now, with the impeccable support of their children, Alessandra , Michele , and Laura , continues to grow day after day. The Barbieri family's primary goal is customer satisfaction. Attention to the smallest detail is not just a corporate mission, but a true lifestyle.
The entire Barbieri Group is committed to promoting the local area by organizing cultural and food and wine events throughout the year, in the belief that community growth is essential for tourism growth.
The hotel and accommodation facility also features a restaurant , wine cellar , and shop . The Casa Barbieri shop, adjacent to the restaurant, is furnished like a traditional shop and offers preserves, herbs, and flavored spreads to pair with cheeses, jams, legumes, and honey. All the shop's products are made with genuine, natural ingredients, following ancient rural traditions.

The fruits of medium-sized wild artichokes are selected and, after having washed them well with water and lemon, they are blanched, dried and chopped. The resulting mixture is cooked in extra virgin olive oil, flavoring everything with garlic, black pepper and salt. After cooking for about 45 minutes the cream is ready to be put into jars.
Ingredients:
Wild artichoke pulp, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper. 200g
Agrichef Brabieri recommends:
Use the wild artichoke cream for hot crostoni and bruschetta, but also for the preparation of a good pappardella or a good risotto.
